The reason is when their not at home with their family they just assure that their family have food to eat and also they leave money to their housewife while they in the mid sea because they cant secure their life in the mid sea. Catching tuna in the Pacific Ocean is the livelihood of the the fishermen of Infanta, Quezon. In this occupation you the fishermen gamble their life just to catch tuna. This fishermen struggle the voluminous wave of the Pacific Ocean. Their not just spending one day on the mid sea they spend more days until they have latter and they will not return until they have the latter. Sometimes it takes more then one week or sometimes their cant able to go home forever. But sometimes if the fishing was not trenchant this fishermen’s transform into a porter in the market. Because of the difficulty they need an alternative job for them to have some money.
On the other side are their love ones left in the sea shore. In their faces you can notice the tension and the worries for their love one. Their only pray is the safety of their love one. After one week of waiting the fishermen returns. Carried along the latter of big and heavy tuna. At once they quickly bring it into the buyer of tuna. This is the sign that they will have their money after the long day in the mid sea. Its time to celebrated the feast for the fishermen after the surpass of the voluminous wave of the ocean and the tension of their love ones.

COMMENTARIES
Fishery is a noble work but in this livelihood there is no assurance. Because half of the body of this fishermen were almost buried. The people behind in this living are the people who are poor. This people are not just facing the strike of wave in the ocean but also the strike of poverty. In this kind of occupation life is the profit. And still the money that comes from the tuna is not enough to support the needs of these people. Many of these people doesn’t finished their education or not just have even a single step in school. The sea is their lives but it can be the fuse of their own lives.
Hope that each of us should conceive that before we eat and taste the tuna inside the can hope we conceive the hardship of the fishermen just to deliver us the tuna that gives life to them.

SYNOPSIS
They say health is wealth but what if this wealth will take you to suffering.
Many people grow old and died that’s never been seeing a doctor. These are the problems of the people who live in a far community. Because their to far from civilization they don’t even experienced the regular check-up and because they don’t have a doctor in their community their just hoping into the doctors whose try to go to their place. But in far community the people built their on clinic. But the pity thing about this clinic is they don’t have enough medicines and facilities. And instead of a doctor in charge in the clinic the midwife become an instant doctor.
Even our public hospitals are big social problem number one is the facilities of the public hospitals. The facilities don’t even fit into the number of the patients in the hospital there are lacking of rooms. Some patients use to stay and sleep at the hallway of the hospitals. And some of them need to bring their own bed because there is no available bed for them.
Another problem is the lack of the medical staff. And because of the increasing of the number of the patients some of them are not being regard of the medical staff. Many of our doctors and nurses go to abroad because of the higher wages there rather than here. And the effect of this is the irregular of the medical service.
And another problem of each Filipino is the too much expensive of the medical drugs. Many people blame the expensive medical drug that’s why their illness has not been cured. And their just dying not even experiencing the ease of life.

COMMENTARIES
In a community far from the civilization the government is still responsible to this people to meet their medical needs. And still this people are part of the society.
The lacking of the medical staff and hospital facilities is cause of the lack of fund of the government. The fund for the health is only 1% of the national budget. In this case I don’t wonder why our public hospitals are lacking in medical supplies and facilities. It is because even the budget is not enough to support the Filipinos health.
Many Filipinos depends their health in the medical drugs and even this hope will lost because of the expensive price. Hoping the government will do some action on this case. In order to have an ease life to the people who suffer in their illness. And no more Filipino will died because of the expensive medical drugs. Health is wealth we should conserve it.

The people behind in this living are the people whose unemployed or no stable job, without proper lifestyle, and homeless. This people cant afford to buy to clean food. Because this people are victims of poverty. This people are like vampires at night because their just occuring at night, their active at night that nobody can recognized them. But first before they can taste their dish they must be quick and they might forestall yet another. And also they need the courage to talk to the restaurant managers to get immediate the residual or the leftover food and it will not be given to the others. But the danger in this kind of eating lifestyle; eating leftover foods can poisoned them, they can get sickness and diseases. But for them it don’t matters for only to survive hunger. They will take the risk even though it can be the fuse of their lives.

On the other side of the country there’s a mountain of life for the majority of the people who lives there the “SMOKEY MOUNTAIN” or the payatas dump site.
In this mountain everything is possible everyone can be part of the commodity that’s happening in the mountain. The people who work here is called “TAMBAKERO”. They are the people looking for the garbage that they can sell in the junkshop and turn the garbage into money. Surprisingly even a 6-year-old kid can be a tambakero. Instead of schooling the kid went to the mountain of life to have some commodities and earn money for his family. This kid was chosing to work rather than to go to school. Even though at his age he knew the danger behind his job.
The mountain of life is also an accident prone area. Because of the garbage that have sharp edges and also they might hit of the large vehicle passing by the area. And they might get sickness and diseases from the dirty environment that sorounds them. Before the Payatas Tragedy happened pollution in this place is get more even serious because there is no proper segregation. Because all type of dump in the city goes here. Everybody who works here is expose in dirty pollution inhaling toxic air, walking in the carpet of germs and bacteria. Children and adults who try their fortune in this place are gambling their health just to survive the cruelty of life.

COMMEMTEARIES
Poverty is the main branch why this kind of lifestyle is still existing.
To end this kind of living first we must prevent the proliferation of poverty in our country. Because if theres no poverty nobody will suffer, nobody will depend their food needs into leftover foods, nobody will pick garbage just to earn money, no child labor, childrens can go to school and play.
The government shall expand their services. Hoping that they will see what is really happening in our poor Juan de la Cruz. If only the government will give attention and stop the corruption maybe this social problem will have a solution. And many Filipinos can have a decent living.

SYNOPSIS

Malnutrition is a faulty and inadequate nutrition. Malnutrition is a global problem that we should give attention. The causes of malnutrition in our country are poverty, no proper job, and too much population.

Poverty is the main root of malnutrition therefore many families in the country has experiencing hunger. There’s not enough money to buy food, and if any it’s still not enough for one day. And most of the poor families here in the Philippines will only eat once a day. And if they had a food still is not enough to meet the nutrition need. According to our food pyramid an individual must take at least 8-12 glasses a day, 1 serving or ½ cup of rice, cereal, and bread; 1 serving or 1 medium size of fruit and vegetable, 1 serving or 1 matchbox size of meat protein, and 1 serving or 1 tsp. sugar and fat. But a pity it is not followed of the most especially the poor families. Because they don’t have no enough money to buy those food to meet the nutrition need. And the result is the malnutrition.

Because of lack of sufficient job here in our country and because of the global recession there are many Filipino lost their job or people who have jobs but they have not enough income. Therefore most poor families in the country do not think the nutrition that they can get instead the most important to them is how to fit their money to buy food. And each day transient is also simultaneously increasing it’s of purchase. And because of the increasing of the purchase it is especially decrescent the contents of the dining table of the Filipino families and increasing the families whose experiencing hunger. And its all because of the unemployment and loss of income to the family. And again the result is malnutrition.
If you earn P200 a day and you belong in a big family composed of 10 members and you are the bread winner of the family do you think your P200 can fit in 1 day?
The excessive number of members in our family is also the cause of malnutrition. Even individual people have a job, but 10 people with family members you have your family can also experience food shortage and its affiliate the malnutrition. In this aspect it is not only in the low class families is covered it even in the middle class families can also experience it. Because the income of the family is not enough to support the family needs because of the excessive number of family member. And the effect of it is the separation portions of food at each other and also with it are the decrescent nutrition receives of each to them. And if it continues the result is malnutrition.
The malnutrition is not lethal it may cure through proper diet. But if malnutrition continues and may even worsen and it maybe the fuse of your life.
